Airstream Holidays and Other Unique Places To Stay in the UK.

The comfortable Airstreams were way ahead of their times and enjoyed mod cons such as air-con, full sized ovens and showers ….. aim is to open a retro caravan holiday park……..   

Thank you, thank, you, thank you – the mission made a truely magnificent place to stay and I wrote a WHOLE story on my stay in the guest book ….  Thank you for the cake and milk and the amazing experience. I have the mission as my phone screen saver!

It is impossible not to smile as you step inside. There’s a pile of Rock n Roll CDs next to the retro jukebox stereo and a bottle of Babycham

Our short break at Vintage Vacations was wonderful, Helen and Frazer are diamonds and their Airstream caravans are a real treasure and treat to stay in. We wished we could have stayed longer but will definitely be returning.

A superb blend of authentic period furnishings with a touch of modern luxury in all the right places. The space was generous and the ambience inspiring. The perfect retreat for a relaxing Christmas break with family and lots of reminiscing.

The Bungalow was warm and cosy and welcoming,  great for snuggling up in when it was snowing outside!

The Airstreams themselves are kitschy and comfortable. The beds have real mattresses and the showers are surprisingly useable, despite their diminuitive size. It all adds to the sepia-toned experience.

The words ‘caravan’ and ‘cool’ really do go together. Relaxing on a striped vintage deckchair, taking in the pleasing sight of my trailer park with a twist, all gleaming silver Americana, rather than tatty white plastic vans, I feel as though I am enjoying the Californian sunshine back in the 1960′s ….
